Our grand opening / ribbon cutting ceremony was held recently on September 29th, with the Rhinelander Chamber of Commerce at our facility. The Chamber Director and Ambassadors were present for our event and we were presented with the ribbon and a plaque honoring the event. This month’s issue of Sport Aviation indicated there would be a celebration honoring the aircraft’s 70th year of service. The 190/195 was Cessna’s only post war radial model and first flew in 1945. Production models became available in 1947 and can been seen yearly at the EAA’s Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
