In November we partnered with SPaero, to develop an option for operators and MRO’s servicing or operating the Bombardier Q400. The Q400, which features a Hutchinson Aerospace engine mount system, utilizes a Hydraulic torque compensating system. The servicing kit ( t900314-1 from Bombardier runs about $38000.00 and has long lead times. We developed a kit using exactly the same components and reduced the lead time to 1-2 weeks. There is also a kit that can be rented by the week for MRO’s not wanting the expense of the kit to own. The SPT-174-02 is a $20,000.00 savings over the OEM kit. We also offer replacement jack pads for the Dash 8 100-300 series as well as the Q400 and replacement grommet puller shafts 2383ht01-04-1ay used in the insertion and removal of grommets on the aircraft.
